2) Position valve (9), microswitch (10) and control shaft (8) assembly by inserting it through pipe passage aperture.
3) Fasten support (22) to front table (23) with bolts (1), washers (24) and new locknuts (25).
4) After removing blanking caps and plugs, connect pipes (17), (18), (20) and (21). Torque - refer to 20-00-02.
5) Connect the wires of microswitch (10).
6) Position control knob (6). Secure it with screw (7) coated with Loctite (TB 08-013C) or similar product for safetying.
7) Bleed brake system - refer to 12-13-01.
8) Check for leaks at unions and pipes. Mark pipe unions with red paint.
9) Test the brakes while taxiing.

NOSE GEAR STEERING
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1. GENERAL
The nose gear steering system ensures the direction control of the aircraft on ground. The control is mechanical and is coupled with rudder pedals movements in the cockpit.
2. LOCATION

3. DESCRIPTION (Figures 1 and 2)
Two control rods coupled with the rudders cross the firewall through bellows and are connected to connecting lever.
The wheel centering is automatically provided during the landing gear retraction.
4. OPERATION
A. Steering
When a rudder pedal is fully pushed, the nose wheel rotates of about 18°30' to the left or to the right. By applying either left or right brake, the wheel steering may be increased.
The minimum turning radius of the aircraft is obtained by using differential braking and nose gear steering.
B. Wheel centering
When the nose landing gear retracts in its housing, the centering rod end, located at the rear of the landing gear upper stop is in contact with the L.H. stop and / or R.H. stop of the wheel centering. The landing gear comes back to the centering. These stops are located above the landing gear hinge pins on the landing gear mount.
