GENERAL The landing gear is of tricycle type and is retractable. The nose and main landing gears have been provided with oil-air shock-absorbers. Main landing gears are of the trailing-beam type. Each main gear is fitted with a single-disk hydraulic brake unit located on the inboard side of the wheel. Extension and retraction of the landing gear is accomplished through actuating cylinders powered by an electrically-driven hydraulic power pack. Hydraulic system fluid level can be checked on a combination dipstick / filler cap. Landing gear selection is done through a two-position lever located on the R.H. edge of the L.H. subpanel. When the gear is retracted, the main landing gears swing inboard while the nose gear swings straight back. Air streamlining is provided through gear doors. The hydraulic parking brake is controlled by a knob, located on L.H. subpanel. Nose wheel steering is provided through the use of rudder pedals and connected with the rudder. The deflection is limited through stops on the nose gear. Two-flange light alloy wheels are installed on the nose and main landing gears. The main and nose wheels are equipped with tires including an inner tube.
