NOTE 1 : During the use of the airframe manufacturer's connecting base, refer to the test procedures, as the manifold has check valves that could modify the pressure readings at the different outlets. NOTE 2 : The following pump functions are tested at the high pressure checking port : - Correct regulated pressure setting (adjustable). - Correct operation of pressure check valve. - Correct operation of pressure release valve. - Correct thermal relief or reversed pressure release setting (adjustable). NOTE 3 : The only pump function, that is checked at the low pressure port, is the correct regulated pressure adjustment. This setting is adjustable only on the new 105930 and HYC series valve body and gear case assembly. The previous 105299 series are not adjustable. The 105299 series pumps - refer to Figure 203, are easily recognized by the two adjusting screws and locknuts as compared to the three adjusting screws and locknuts used on the 105930 and HYC series. 3) Connect the electrohydraulic generator according to Figure 202. 4) Open the two isolating valves and run motor in both directions to purge air from test system. Check motor for current draw specifications in both directions. 5) Close isolating valve (8) and valve on hand-pump, if applicable. Run motor for high regulated pressure check and current draw specification. Pump should hold pressure when motor is stopped (do not be concerned with pressure drop at this point ; however check hydraulic connections for leaks). 6) Momentarily run motor to the low pressure direction. Pressure should drop to 0 on gage.
