3. DESCRIPTION (Figure 1)
A. Landing gear leg
The landing gear leg is attached and hinged on the landing gear mount with two shafts going through the landing gear hinge fittings and the landing gear mount.
B. Shock-absorber
The oil-air type shock-absorber is included inside the landing gear leg. It is composed with a sliding tube ended by a plate on its lower side.

C. Scissors
The scissors permit the connection between the landing gear leg and the yoke attached at the end of the shock-absorber sliding tube. They are made of two light alloy half-scissors linked together by a shaft with a lubricator.
D. Yoke
The yoke is attached to the sliding tube plate and receives the gear wheel. A towing fitting attached to the yoke provides the hooking of the towing bar.
E. Landing gear mount
The landing gear mount, on which the nose landing gear and the steering and wheel centering system are fixed and hinged, is composed of welded steel tubes. It is attached on the firewall.
F. Door
The door is attached on the landing gear leg ; it shuts its groove at the level of the lower engine cowling.
It allows the air to flow freely around the engine cowling, keeping that way the performance of the engine.
