NOTE : For any further information concerning connecting diagrams of these various equipment, refer to "Electrical Maintenance Manual" or "Wiring Manual". 1) Jack up the aircraft - refer to 07-10-00. 2) Make sure that the main switch-breaker is open. 3) Install the warning sign prohibiting main switch-breaker operation. WARNING DO NOT OPERATE MAINTENANCE WORK IN PROGRESS 4) Remove the engine cowlings (nose landing gear microswitch) - refer to 71-10-01. 5) Pull landing gear emergency control. 6) Disconnect microswitch (5). 7) Connect a test light to pins 1 and 2 of microswitch (5). 8) Unlock microswitch nut. 9) Using a screwdriver, unlock hinged strut - refer to 32-30-03 and 32-30-04 - and lift hook (2) up to 0.18 in ± 0.01 (4.5 mm ± 0.3) of its travel on stud (3) or until hook (2) boss (1) is in prolongation of stud (3). Hold this position. 10) Adjust microswitch (5) until the illumination of the test light. 11) Put a drop of loctite (TB 08-013C) on microswitch (5) thread at nut level. 12) Lock nut. 13) Disconnect the test light and connect microswitch (5). 14) If installed, connect the ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00. 15) Close main switch-breaker. 16) Manually set the landing gear to locked limit position. I 17) On landing gear control panel, make sure the green indicator light comes on. 18) Slowly push the landing gear to retracted position and make sure the green indicator light goes off and 19) Set back the landing gear to locked position and make sure the green indicator light comes on and the the red warning light comes on. red warning light goes off when hook (2) is at 0.18 in ± 0.01 (4.5 mm± 0.3) of its travel on stud (3) or until hook (2) boss (1) is in prolongation of stud (3). 20) Push back the landing gear emergency control. 21) Check landing gear control linkage and indicating system - refer to 32-30-00. 22) If connected, disconnect the ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00. 23) Lower the aircraft to ground and remove the jacks - refer to 07-10-00. 24) Install the engine cowlings (nose landing gear microswitch) - refer to 71-10-01. 25) Remove the warning sign prohibiting main switch-breaker operation. With vapor cycle cooling system 26) Perform an operational test of vapor cycle cooling system - refer to 21-55-00. NOTE : This test must be performed only if the microswitch attached to the hinged strut of R.H. main landing gear has been removed. C.
