CONNECT TO BLUE WIRE : HIGH PRESSURE Electrohydraulic generator - Adjustment / Test Figure 203 Electrohydraulic generator - Adjustment / Test Figure 204 AAAA Validity : Electrohydraulic generator "PRESTOLITE" 32 35 01Page 208 (BA) JUN 011 7) Close isolating valve (6). Open isolating valve (8). Run motor to the low pressure direction. Check low pressure setting and current draw specifications. Pressure should drop to 0 when motor is stopped. 8) Close isolating valve (8). Open the isolating valve (6). Run motor to the high pressure direction until pump develops maximum pressure, then stop motor. Use the hand-pump to develop enough pressure to cause the relief valve to open. Check this pressure against specifications. Slowly open isolating valve (8) to release pressure. 9) Run motor to the high pressure direction. Adjust isolating valve (8) to obtain 1000 psi (69 bars) pumping pressure. Check the current draw of the motor. Current draw must not exceed 35 amperes for a 14-volt circuit and 30 amperes for a 28-volt circuit. 10) Close isolating valve (8). Run motor to the high pressure direction until pump develops maximum pressure, then stop motor. Wait about 5 seconds, then momentarily run motor again. At this point the pump should have developed its regulated high pressure setting and should be holding that pressure. If pressure drops more than 300 psi (20 bars) within 5 minutes, momentarily run motor again to obtain maximum pressure, then check that the pressure drop does not exceed 400 psi (28 bars) within 15 minutes. Make certain pressure drop is not being caused by loose fittings or leaking valves.
