LANDING GEAR EMERGENCY CONTROL
MAINTENANCE PRACTICES
1. SERVICING
None
2. REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - LANDING GEAR EMERGENCY CONTROL (Figure 201)
A. Tools and consumable materials
- Ground power unit (aircraft equipped with a ground power receptacle)
- Oil (TB 03-900)
B. Removal of the landing gear emergency control
1) Jack up the aircraft - refer to 07-10-00.
2) Make sure that the landing gears are down and locked.
3) Under the L.H. instrument panel strip, lightly unscrew nut (1).
4) On bracket (2), lightly unscrew nut (9).
5) On bracket (7), unscrew nut (5).
6) Disengage control (4) by pulling control knob (8). Retain nut (5) and washer (6).
C. Installation of the landing gear emergency control
1) Lubricate control with oil (TB 03-900).
2) Insert control (4) in bracket (7).
3) Insert washer (6) and nut (5) on control (4).
4) Screw and tighten nut (5).
5) Insert control (4) in trunnion (3) and cable grip (10).
6) Make sure that the valve control lever is positioned to "Normal".
7) Push control knob (8) to the stop position.
8) Tighten nuts (9) and (1).
WARNING BEFORE ANY LANDING GEAR RETRACTION OR "NORMAL" OR "EMERGENCY" EXTENSION PROCEDURE, AND / OR LANDING GEAR CIRCUIT-BREAKER CLOSING, MAKE SURE THAT THE LANDING GEAR IMMEDIATE SURROUNDINGS ARE CLEAR (PERSONS OR THINGS).
9) Retract landing gear and perform an emergency extension - refer to 32-30-00.
10) Lower the aircraft to ground and remove the jacks - refer to 07-10-00.

1. GENERAL Pre-MOD. 151
The main gear wheels are equipped with disk-type brakes controlled through rudder pedals in the L.H. station and actuating master cylinders.
The R.H. station can also be equipped with optional brake rudder pedals. Post-MOD. 151

Transmission is hydraulic and braking is of differential type.

- the nose wheel,
