10) If installed, remove shouldered bushing (7). NOTE : Disassembly / assembly - refer to Paragraphs D. and E. (if necessary). C. Installation of the main wheel (Figure 201) 1) Inflate tire to working pressure - refer to 12-14-01. 2) Clean landing gear axle (4), nut (9) and nut retainer (10). 3) Lubricate axle (4) contact surfaces with grease (TB 04-004A). 4) If removed, position shouldered bushing (7) on axle (4). 5) Install wheel (8) on axle (4). 6) Install brake unit (3) counterplates (6). 7) Install nut (9) and torque by rotating the wheel until the axial play of the bearings is completely removed ; loosen nut (9), then repeat the operation. NOTE : Torque must not exceed 40 Lbf.in (4.5 N.m). 8) Position nut retainer (10) with tabs pointing outwards. 9) Lower the aircraft to ground and remove the jacks - refer to 07-10-00. 10) Install cap (11) with screws (13) and washers (12). D. Disassembly of the main landing gear wheel (Figure 202) WARNING : ENSURE THAT THE TIRE IS DEFLATED. 1) Remove the 3 assembly bolts (15) from the 2 wheel flanges (6) and (10). Retain washers (5). Discard nuts (4). Retain brake disk (14). 2) After tire (9) separation, disengage the 2 flanges (6) and (10). 3) Remove the tire (9) and disengage tube (18). 4) Remove circlips (1) and (13). 5) Remove lubricant retainer rings (2), (3), (16) and (17) and felts (8) and (12). 6) Remove bearings (7) and (11). 7) Clean parts with cleaning agent (TB 11-002) or TB (11-003). 8) Check the two wheel flanges (6) and (10), the brake disk (14) and bolts (15) for cracks using a penetrant inspection (TB 05-905). 9) Inspect bearings (7) and (11) for condition, galling or frettage and oxidation. Replace if necessary. I 10) Inspect felts (8) and (12) for hardness and contamination. Replace if necessary. E. Assembly of the main landing gear wheel (Figure 202) 1) Lubricate bearings (7) and (11) with grease (TB 04-004A). 2) Soak felts (8) and (12) with oil (TB 03-904). 3) Lubricate seats and install bearings (7) and (11). 4) Install lubricant retainer rings (2), (3), (16) and (17) and felts (8) and (12). 5) Install circlips (1) and (13).
