SERVICING None 2. REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - ELECTROHYDRAULIC GENERATOR (Figure 201) A. Tools and consumable materials - Hydraulic fluid (TB 02-001) - Loctite (TB 09-906) - Varnish (TB 07-906) - Loctite (TB 08-908) - Red paint - Drain receptacle - Blanking caps - Stainless steel lockwire, dia.0.03 in (0.8 mm) B. Removal of the electrohydraulic generator 1) Jack up the aircraft - refer to 07-10-00. 2) Open "LDG GEAR" "PULL OFF" type circuit-breaker on circuit-breaker panel. 3) Remove the rear bench seatpan - refer to 25-12-00. 4) Remove the inspection door 238 - refer to 06-30-00. 5) Remove the cowling under hull 218. 6) Mark and disconnect electrohydraulic generator (4) supply wiring. 7) Install a drain receptacle under electrohydraulic generator (4). 8) Disconnect pipes (3) and (8). Blank off. 9) Remove electrohydraulic generator (4) gage. Allow to drip and blank off. 10) Cut the lockwire and remove bolts (7) and washers (6). 11) Cut the lockwire and, while holding electrohydraulic generator (4), unscrew clamp (5). 12) Remove electrohydraulic generator (4). 13) Remove, if necessary, the unions (9) and (10). C. Installation of the electrohydraulic generator 1) Coat unions (9) and (10) with Loctite (TB 09-906) and install them, if necessary. Observe union mounting direction - see Details A and B. 2) Position electrohydraulic generator (4) on its bracket. 3) Attach the lower part of the generator with bolts (7) and washers (6). Lockwire bolts (7). ACAC Validity : Electrohydraulic generator "COMMERCIAL HYDRAULICS" 32-35 Page juN20011 01 (DA) 4) Attach the upper part of the generator with clamp (5). Lockwire. 5) Remove the blanking caps, connect pipes (3) and (8). Torque - refer to 20-00-02. 6) Connect the electrohydraulic generator : a) Black wire ground connection, b) Blue / white wire UP relay (1) or (1A), c) Green / white wire DOWN relay (2) or (2A). 7) Apply a coat of varnish (TB 07-906) on the grounding lead connection. 8) Replenish the generator - refer to 12-13-03.
