COMPENSATING ACTUATOR
MAINTENANCE PRACTICES
1. SERVICING None
2. REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - COMPENSATING ACTUATOR (Figure 201)
A. Tools and consumable materials
- Lubricant (TB 04-004A)
B. Removal of the compensating actuator
1) Jack up the aircraft - refer to 07-10-00.
2) Remove the engine cowlings - refer to 71-10-01.
3) Disconnect compensating actuator (6) from hinged body. Retain washer (7). Discard cotter pin (8). S/N 1 -812
4) Disconnect compensating actuator (6) from compensating lever (2). Retain washer (5). Discard cotter pin (4).
S / N 813 - 9999
4) Disconnect compensating actuator (6) from compensating lever (2). Retain washers (3) and (5). Discard cotter pin (4).
C. Installation of the compensating actuator
NOTE : Make sure, before installation, that the different parts have no wear or abnormal grooves, no friction, corrosion and buckling of the actuator rod. Replace all the faulty elements.
1) Lubricate hinges with lubricant (TB 04-004A).
2) Test the compensating actuators - refer to Paragraph 3.

3) Connect compensating actuator (6) to compensating lever (2) with washer (5) and a new cotter pin (4). S / N 813 - 9999
3) Connect compensating actuator (6) to compensating lever (2) with washers (3) and (5) and new cotter pin (4).
S / N 1 - 9999
4) Connect compensating actuator (6) to the landing gear hinged body with washer (7) and new cotter pin (8).
