4) Install lockwasher (7) and nut (8). Check the free rotation of the wheel without clearance. Safety nut (8). Discard nuts (17). 2) After tire (21) separation, disengage the 2 flanges (5) and (20). 3) Remove the tire (21) and disengage tube (10). 4) Remove circlips (9) and (15). 5) Remove lubricant retainer rings (1), (2), (14) and (18), felts (8) and (13) and thrust washers (7) and (12). 6) Remove bearings (6) and (11). 7) Clean parts with cleaning agent (TB 11-002) or (TB 11-003). 8) Check the two wheel flanges (5) and (20) and bolts (3) for cracks using a penetrant inspection (TB 05-905). 9) Inspect bearings (6) and (11) for condition, galling or frettage and oxidation. Replace if necessary. 10) Inspect felts (8) and (13) for hardness and contamination. Replace if necessary. E. Assembly of the nose wheel (Figure 202) 1) Lubricate bearings (6) and (11) with grease (TB 04-004A). 2) Soak felts (8) and (13) with oil (TB 03-904). 3) Lubricate seats and install bearings (6) and (11). 4) Install thrust washers (7) and (12), lubricant retainer rings (1), (2), (14) and (18) and felts (8) and (13). 5) Install circlips (9) and (15). 6) Replace the inflation valve protective grommet (19), if necessary. 7) Powder tube (10) lightly with talcum powder. 8) Insert tube (10) in tire (21). Make sure the triangular marking on tire is aligned with the marking on tube valve. 9) Inflate tube slightly for installation. CAUTION : NEVER USE LUBRICANT IN ORDER TO MAKE THE SLIDING OF THE TIRE BEAD EASIER ON THE FLANGE. 10) Install tire and tube assembly on rear flange (5). 11) Install FWD flange (20) by passing the stem of the tube (10) valve through the grommet (19). 12) Assemble the 2 flanges (5) and (20) with bolts (3), washers (4) and (16) and new nuts (17). 13) Torque nuts (17) - refer to 20-00-01. 14) Mark nuts (17) position with red paint line.
