1. SERVICING None 2. REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - GROUND SAFETY MICROSWITCH (Figure 201) A. Tools and consumable materials - Tie-wraps B. Removal of the ground safety microswitch 1) Make sure that the main switch-breaker is open. 2) Install the warning sign prohibiting main switch-breaker operation. WARNING DO NOT OPERATE MAINTENANCE WORK IN PROGRESS 3) Disconnect connector (5). 4) Cut and discard the tie-wraps and remove the clamps which secure the wiring on the landing gear leg. 5) Release and remove nut (8) and then, nut (2). Pre-change 20305 6) Remove toothed washer (7) (if installed), tab washer (6) and microswitch (1). Discard toothed washer (7). Post-change 20305 6) Remove toothed washer (7), tab washer (6) and microswitch (1). Discard toothed washer (7). C. Installation of the ground safety microswitch 1) If the microswitch is replaced, remove nuts (8) and (2), both toothed washers (7) and tab washer (6). Discard one toothed washer. 2) Position microswitch (1) on bracket (3). Install new toothed washer (7) and tab washer (6) on feeling head side. 3) Attach microswitch with nut (2). 4) If required, correct the direction of the feeling head wheel and install nut (8). 5) Connect connector (5). 6) Attach wiring (4) on landing gear leg with clamps and new tie-wraps. 7) Adjust the microswitch - refer to Paragraph 3. 8) Remove the warning sign prohibiting main switch-breaker operation. 9) Check landing gear control linkage and indicating system - refer to 32-30-00. 3. ADJUSTMENT / TEST - GROUND SAFETY MICROSWITCH (Figure 201) A. Tools and consumable materials - Ground power unit - Hydraulic jacks - Loctite (TB 08-013C) B. Procedure NOTE : For any further information concerning connecting diagrams of this various equipment, refer to Electrical Maintenance Manual. 1) Make sure that the main switch-breaker is open. 2) Install the warning sign prohibiting main switch-breaker operation. WARNING DO NOT OPERATE MAINTENANCE WORK IN PROGRESS 3) Jack up the aircraft - refer to 07-10-00. 4) Check shock absorber charging - refer to 12-14-02. 5) If installed, connect the ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00. 6) Using nuts (2), move microswitch (1) until the feeling head is no longer in contact with the landing gear hinged arm. 7) Test microswitch (1) in rest position. a) Close main switch-breaker. b) Close landing gear circuit-breaker. c) Set landing gear control lever to retracted position and check the power supply cut-off of the electrohydraulic generator. d) Set landing gear control lever to extended position.
