Retain flow regulator and discard 0-ring (14). C. Installation of the nose landing gear actuating cylinder 1) Make sure, before installation, that the different parts have no wear or abnormal grooves, no friction, corrosion and buckling of the cylinder rod. Check hoses for condition. Replace if necessary. Post-MOD. 141 2) If the actuating cylinder has been replaced, install a new 0-ring (14) on flow regulator (13), then screw flow regulator (13) on the actuating cylinder. Torque - refer to 20-00-01. All 3) Check actuating cylinder (7) length and min. gap of 0.12 in (3 mm) - refer to Figure 202, adjust if necessary - refer to Paragraph 3. 4) Lubricate hinges with grease (TB 04-004A). 5) If disconnected, connect hose (6) equipped with a new 0-ring (12) to the actuating cylinder - refer to 20-00-02. Torque - refer to 20-00-01. 6) Attach actuating cylinder (7) rod to hinged strut (8) with bolt (9), washer (10) and new nut (11). 7) Install a new 0-ring (12) on hose (4). 8) Through the support, connect hose (4) onto actuating cylinder (7) - refer to 20-00-02. Torque - refer to 20-00-01. 9) Attach actuating cylinder (7) onto the support with bolt (1), washer (2) and new nut (3). 10) Connect hoses (4) and (6) to unions on firewall - refer to 20-00-02. 11) Push back the landing gear emergency control. 12) Add fluid in the electrohydraulic generator reservoir - refer to 12-13-03. 13) Check landing gear control linkage and indicating system - refer to 32-30-00. 14) Make sure there is no leak or seapage at the level of unions, hoses and cylinder rod. 15) Check the level of hydraulic fluid (TB 02-001) in the electrohydraulic generator reservoir. Add if necessary. 16) Mark the hose nuts and the unions of firewall and actuating cylinder with a red paint line. 17) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris. 18) Install the engine cowlings - refer to 71-10-01. 19) Lower the aircraft to ground and remove the jacks - refer to 07-10-00. 20) Remove the warning sign prohibiting main switch-breaker operation. 3. ADJUSTMENT / TEST - NOSE LANDING GEAR ACTUATING CYLINDER (Figure 202) A.
