REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - LANDING GEAR MICROSWITCHES A. Tools and consumable materials - Hydraulic jacks - Tie wraps B. Removal of the hinged strut microswitches (Figure 201) 1) Jack up the aircraft - refer to 07-10-00. 2) Make sure that the main switch-breaker is open. 3) Install the warning sign prohibiting main switch-breaker operation. WARNING DO NOT OPERATE MAINTENANCE WORK IN PROGRESS 4) Remove the engine cowlings (hinged strut microswitch of nose landing gear) - refer to 71-10-01. 5) Disconnect connector (1). 6) Cut and discard the tie wraps attaching wiring to main landing gear and to nose landing gear hinged strut. Pre-change 20305 with vapor cycle cooling system 7) Cut and discard lockwire, remove nut (5), microswitch (3) and toothed washer (7). Discard toothed washer (7). Pre-change 20305 without vapor cycle cooling system 7) Remove nut (5), microswitch (3), toothed washers (7) (if installed) and tab washer (6).
