3) Drain the brake system. 4) Remove the brake unit - refer to 32-42-02. 5) Remove the shock-absorber (24) lower attachment. Retain bolt (22) and circlip (23). 6) Disconnect the microswitch (21) connectors at gimbal joint (20) and remove the wire attachments on the landing gear. 7) Hold rocker beam (10) and remove the fitting attaching it to gear leg (4). Retain bolt (5), recessed washer (3), nut (2). Discard cotter pin (1). 8) Remove the rocker beam. 9) Remove brake unit support (12) and wheel axle (11). Retain bolts (9) and washers (16). Discard nuts (17). 10) Remove gimbal joint (20) from rocker beam (10) by untightening screw (18). Slide hollow pin (19). Remove and retain rings (14). 11) Drive out and retain spacer (6) and rings (7). 12) Remove grease nipples (8) and (13). 13) Clean all the parts with cleaning agent (TB 11-003). E. Assembly of the main landing gear (Figure 202) 1) Check the condition of rings (7) and (14), spacer (6), bolts (5), (9) and (22), hollow pin (19) and wheel axle (11). 2) Install rings (14) on gimbal joint (20) and rings (7) on rocker beam with Loctite (TB 08-901). 3) Lubricate rings (7) and (14), bolts (5), (9) and (22), hollow pin (19) and spacer (6) with lubricant (TB 04-004A). CAUTION : CORRECTLY POSITION HOLLOW PIN (19) SO THAT DUCT HOLE (15) IS ALIGNED WITH GREASE NIPPLE (13). CAUTION : IF HOLLOW PIN (19) HAS BEEN REPAIRED AS MENTIONED IN PARAGRAPH 6., INSTALL IMPERATIVELY THE LATTER WITH THE NUT ON WHEEL SIDE - SEE FIGURE 204, DETAIL A. 4) Install gimbal joint (20) and hollow pin (19). Secure with screw (18) locked with Loctite (TB 08-013C). 5) Install wheel axle (11) and brake unit support (12) with bolts (9), washers (16) and new nuts (17). Torque according to "Specific cases" tightening procedure - refer to 20-00-01. 6) Position spacer (6) on rocker beam (10), then position the assembly on gear leg (4). CAUTION : MAKE SURE RECESSED WASHER (3) IS CORRECTLY POSITIONED. 7) Attach rocker beam with recessed washer (3), bolt (5) and nut (2). Torque nut (2) - refer to 20-00-01. 8) Lock with a new cotter pin (1). 9) Couple shock-absorber (24) to rocker beam (10) with bolt (22) and circlip (23).
