- Hydraulic fluid (TB 02-001) B. Check procedure CAUTION : DURING PERIODIC INSPECTIONS - REFER TO 05-20-00, OR EXCEPTIONAL INSPECTIONS (OPERATION ANOMALIES FOR EXAMPLE) AND / OR AFTER REMOVAL / INSTALLATION OF ONE OR MORE IMPORTANT PARTS OF LANDING GEAR, HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND / OR INDICATION CIRCUIT, CHECK LANDING GEARS CONTROL LINKAGE AND INDICATION. NOTE : This checking of the control linkage must be accompanied in some cases with a checking of the landing gear hinged strut misalignment - refer to 32-30-03 and 32-30-04. 1) Jack up the aircraft - refer to 07-10-00. 2) If required, connect the ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00. 3) Check hydraulic fluid tank level - refer to 12-13-03 (add fluid if necessary). 4) Keep surroundings clear. 5) Make sure landing gear emergency control is in "pushed" position and landing gear "pull-off" type circuit-breaker is depressed. WARNING : PRIOR TO ANY LANDING GEAR OPERATION, MAKE SURE THE LANDING GEAR AREA IS CLEAR. 6) Operate landing gear : - 4 extensions using the normal procedure, - 1 extension using the emergency procedure, - 4 extensions using the normal procedure, - 1 extension using the emergency procedure, - 1 extension using the normal procedure. 7) During above maneuvers, check landing gears position indication on the control panel and duration to "up" and "down" position : - less than 12 seconds for "normal" extension or retraction, - less than 8 seconds for "emergency" extension. 8) Make sure that in all cases, mechanical locking is obtained before electrical one (indication) - refer to 32-30-06. 9) Check warning system (power and flaps position control). a) Install rigging template, P/N 8650 TB 20 00000, on the wings at N8 rib rivet line location. b) Retract the landing gears, set throttle control to idle position. A continuous audio signal is transmitted by the warning loudspeaker. c) Push throttle control forward. The audio signal stops. d) Lower the flaps and make sure a continuous audio signal is transmitted by the warning loudspeaker when the flap trailing edge is between 15° (+5 ; 0) and 40°. e) Retract the flaps. The audio signal stops when the flap trailing edge is between 15° (+5 ; - 0) and 0°. f) If necessary, readjust the microswitch - refer to 27-50-01. g) Extend the landing gears. h) Remove the rigging template. 10) Check hydraulic fluid tank level - refer to 12-13-03. 11) Retract landing gear and check play between doors and structure and check (with power ON) that there is no electrohydraulic pump operation before 5 min. 12) If connected, disconnect the ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00. 13) Extend landing gear.
