SERVICING None 2. REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - NOSE WHEEL A. Tools and consumable materials - Torque wrench 0 - 265.5 Ibf.in (0 - 30 N.nn) - Cleaning agent (TB 11-003) or (TB 11-002) - Penetrant inspection material (TB 05-905) - Grease (TB 04-004A) - Oil (TB 03-904) - Red paint B. Removal of the nose wheel (Figure 201) 1) Apply parking brake. 2) Jack the front of the aircraft - refer to 07-10-00. WARNING : NOSE TIRE MUST BE DEFLATED BEFORE REMOVAL. 3) Deflate the tire by removing the valve core. 4) Remove and discard nut (6), retain washer (5) and bolt (1). 5) Hold the wheel and remove wheel centering bushings (2). 6) Remove wheel assembly and place it on a work bench. 7) Remove wheel axle (10). Retain lockwasher (7) and nut (8). NOTE : Disassembly / Assembly - refer to Paragraphs D. and E. (if necessary). Check the tires - refer to 12-14-01. C. Installation of the nose wheel (Figure 201) 1) Inflate tire to working pressure - refer to 12-14-01. 2) Clean wheel axle (10) and check condition of its contact surfaces.
