Validity : (6) De-energize the multifunction display.
Set radio master switch to "OFF".
Open main switch-breaker.
Disconnect the ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00.

I 2. CONFIGURATION OF MULTIFUNCTION DISPLAY/STORMSCOPE
NOTE This procedure is carried out only when the multifunction display is replaced and when it
must be interfaced with a stormscope system. First, do the configuration of the multifunction display.
 Tools and consumable materials
- Ground power unit
 Procedure
 Make sure that the main switch-breaker is open.
 Connect the ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00.
 Close main switch-breaker.
 Set radio master switch to "ON".
 Perform the following test :
 
ACTION
 Press "OFF-ON" pushbutton to energize the multifunction display.
 If necessary, momentarily press the pushbutton identified on the display by "OK" message to validate the test page.
 Momentarily press the pushbutton identified on the display by "OK" message to validate the "Data Base" page.
 Momentarily press "AUX" pushbutton.
 Momentarily press the pushbutton identified on the display by "SYSTEM CONFIG" message.
 Enter "3333" code with the pushbutton identified on the display by "3" message.
 Momentarily press the pushbutton identified on the display by "DATA I/O" message.
RESULT
 The multifunction display performs an automatic test.
 A test page appears on the multifunction display.
NOTE : The test page lists the optional modules installed on the equipment.
(a) A page relating to the validity of Jeppesen "Data Base" appears on the multifunction display.
(a) A "TOPO ON MAP" page (display of topographical map) appears on the multifunction display.
(a) "AUXILIARY MODE COVER PAGE" page appears on the multifunction display.
(a) "Password" page appears on the multifunction display. 0
