A52 VHF NAV/COMM. transceiver (Figure 3) The VHF NAV/COMM. transceiver is designed for the reception of navigation and guidance signals within a frequency range from 108.00 to 117.95 MHz and as an option for the reception of GS signals within a frequency range from 329.15 to 335.00 MHz. It provides the indicator(s) with NAV/LOC or NAV/ILS information. When this button is pulled out, the identification code of the ground station sounds through A50 audio control panel. To adjust the audio level, rotate this button. When the "PULL/IDENT" button is pushed in, the identification code is attenuated, - the "OFF/PULL TEST" button which energizes the VHF NAV/COMM transceiver. The VHF NAV/COMM. transceiver is mounted on the radio rack. B. M74 course deviation indicator The indicator displays Glide Slope information and, after conversion, the VOR/LOC information provided by the VHF NAV/COMM. transceiver.
