In ILS operation (landing aid), the system allows a continuous guidance in azimuth (LOC) and in elevation (GLIDE). The optional system consists of : - the A52 VHF NAV / COMM transceiver, - the M74 Course Deviation Indicator (CDI). The system uses the VOR and GS antennas and the VOR and GS signal separators. All these components are described in NAV 1 installation - refer to 34-51-00. For the description of the communication portion of the VHF NAV / COMM transceiver, refer to 23-13-00. The system sends signals to : - the A50 Audio Control Box - refer to 23-11-00, the A110 NAV converter of the EFIS system - refer to 34-28-00, the optional Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) system - refer to 34-55-00. The system is electrically supplied by "BUS 3" bus bar via the CB88 "COM NAV 2" circuit breaker. 2.
