F. M81 course deviation indicator (Figure 4) The indicator displays VOR, ILS and GPS information provided by the A78 COMM./VOR-ILS/GPS transceiver. The front panel of the indicator includes : - the "OBS" button used to adjust the desired radial under the lubber line by moving the compass card, - the horizontal pointer showing the Glide Slope course position relative to aircraft position, - the vertical pointer showing the VOR or GPS course deviation or LOC course position relative to aircraft position, - the "TO/FR" flag showing "TO" if the aircraft flies towards the selected ground station or towards the selected waypoint or "FR" when the aircraft flies in the opposite direction from the ground station or from the selected waypoint. - the VOR/LOC/GPS warning flag which appears to show that the received signals cannot be used. - the Glide Slope warning flag which appears to show that the received signals cannot be used. - two indicator lights to identify the origin of the information displayed by the indicator. It is electrically supplied by "BUS 1" bar and protected by CB 87 "NAV 1/GPS 1" circuit breaker.
