(2) On COMM./VOR- ILS/GPS transceiver, turn R.H. internal concentric knob as many times as necessary (to the right or the left) and select "Traffic/Weather" page.
(3) Energize the stormscope system with "STORM." switch.
(4) On COMM./VOR- ILS/GPS transceiver momentarily press "MENU" pushbutton.
(5) Turn R.H. internal concentric knob as many times as necessary (to the right or the left) and select "VIEW 120° ?" or "VIEW 360° ?". Momentarily press "ENT" pushbutton.
(6) On COMM.NOR- ILS/GPS transceiver, momentarily press "MENU" pushbutton.
(7) Turn R.H. internal concentric knob as many times as necessary (to the right or the left) to select "SELF TEST ?". Momentarily press "ENT" pushbutton.
(8) On COMM./VOR- ILS/GPS transceiver,
momentarily press R.H. internal
concentric knob.
(9) Turn internal concentric knob (to the right or the left) to select "STRIKE" mode if "CELL" mode is displayed or vice versa.
(10) Momentarily press R.H. internal
concentric knob. Momentarily press "ENT" pushbutton.
(11) De-energize the stormscope system with "STORM." switch.
RESULT
(a) Stormscope function appears on the display.
(b) "FAILED" message appears on the display.
NOTE : Each rotation of the concentric knob allows sequential displacement of a cursor (to the right of NAV message) that represents the different pages of NAV chapter.
(a) After a few seconds, the stormscope system performs an automatic test procedure.
(b) "TEST" message appears on the display during the whole test procedure.
