The VHF / NAV COMM transceiver combines in a single unit, a VHF COM transceiver and a 200-channel VHF VOR / LOC receiver.
The system is electrically supplied by "BUS 1" bar via the "COM / NAV 1" circuit breaker.

DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1. GENERAL
The VOR is a short- and middle-range navigation aid. It enables the pilot to locate the position of his aircraft with regard to a half-line (radial) crossing the VOR station or also to determine the particular radial crossing the aircraft position.
In ILS operation (landing aid), the system allows a continuous guidance in azimuth (LOC) and in elevation (GLIDE slope approach plane).
The optional system consists of the following elements :
- an A51 VHF NAV / COMM transceiver,
- an E33 VOR / LOC antenna,
