The COMM.NOR-ILS/GPS transceiver is a rectangular box installed in an attachment rack. Connections are made through three electrical connectors and four antenna connectors on the back panel.
For the VOR/ILS functions, the front panel includes :
- the display (1) subdivided in three windows. The window (3) relative to VOR/ILS functions is located in the lower L.H. part of the display. The active frequency and below it, the standby frequency are displayed in this window.
- the ".C" button (7) used to energize the equipment,
- the ".V" button (6) used to adjust the audio level and select the identification code of the ground station,
- the "V<->" pushbutton (5) used to enable the frequency displayed in the active frequency window to flip-flop with the frequency displayed in the "STBY" window and vice-versa,
- two concentric knobs (4) used to modify standby frequency when the cursor function is enabled. If necessary, press momentarily the inner concentric knob to activate cursor function,
- the "CDI" pushbutton (2) used to direct the selected VOR/ILS or GPS information source towards M73 HSI or towards the M81 course deviation indicator.
The COMM./VOR-ILS/GPS transceiver is electrically supplied by "BUS 1" bar and protected by CB 87 "NAV 1/GPS 1" circuit breaker.
The COMM./VOR-ILS/GPS transceiver is mounted on PL30 radio rack.

B. E33 VOR/LOC antenna
The "V" type VOR/LOC antenna consists of two radiants mounted horizontally on each side of the vertical stabilizer. It is designed for the reception of signals within a frequency range from 108 MHz to 118 MHz.
C. E34 GS antenna
The GS antenna consists of two radiants mounted horizontally on each side of the vertical stabilizer. It is designed for the reception of signals within a frequency range from 329 MHz to 335 MHz.
D. A59 VOR signal separator (option)
The signal separator is used to couple NAV 1 and NAV 2 installations with the VOR/LOC antenna. It consists of a rectangular box fitted with two attachment tabs and features 3 BNC connectors.
It is mounted on the L.H. side of the radio rack.
E. A60 GS signal separator (option)
The signal separator is used to couple NAV 1 and NAV 2 installations with the GS antenna.
It consists of a rectangular box fitted with two attachment tabs and features 3 BNC connectors. It is mounted on the R.H. side of the radio rack.
