The digital readout indicator with integrated lighting (dimmed by photo cell) displays outside air temperature or the voltage of aircraft power system. The pushbutton located on the front panel of the indicator enables to select display sequentially in the following order :
- outside air temperature in Fahrenheit degrees (display : data + suffix F),
- outside air temperature in Celsius degrees (display : data + suffix C),
- voltage of aircraft power system (display : data + suffix E).

The indicator is located on the R.H. instrument panel. It receives indications from the sensor. This system is protected by a CB 26 "OAT" circuit breaker located on the circuit breakers panel.

ATTITUDE AND DIRECTION
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1. GENERAL
The attitude and direction section concerns the equipment items which provide the pilot with data concerning the aircraft direction (heading) and attitude.
The installation includes :
- a heading reference system (option),
- a turn and bank indication (option),
- a magnetic compass,
- an ADI and standby horizon (option),
- a radio magnetic indication (option),
- an Electronic Flight Instrumentation System (EFIS) (option).
2. DESCRIPTION
A. Heading reference system - refer to 34-21-00
The heading reference system provides the pilot with a permanent stable heading reference.
B. Turn and bank indication - refer to 34-22-00
The turn coordinator informs the pilot about the flight symmetry and the rate of turn of the aircraft.
C. Magnetic compass - refer to 34-23-00
The magnetic compass provides the pilot with permanent heading information with respect to the earth's magnetic north.
D. ADI and standby horizon - refer to 34-24-00
The horizon provides the pilot with a true vertical stable reference.
