b disconnect the hose from static ports. 4 Remove the blanking caps from both static ports of the fuselage. 5 Simultaneously connect the nitrogen source to both static ports. Ventilate the system. 6 Connect the nitrogen source to the hose previously disconnected from the alternate static source valve and coming from static ports. Ventilate the system. Ventilate the system. 8 Position and screw drain plug. 9 Connect the following components to the alternate static source valve: a the instrument supply hose (aft of the alternate static source valve), b the hose from static ports. 10 Remove the blanking caps from each instrument fitting and connect the static pressure lines. 11 Blank off both static pressure ports of the fuselage. Without alternate static source valve 3 Remove the blanking caps from both static ports of the fuselage. 4 Simultaneously connect the nitrogen source to both static ports. Ventilate the system. 5 Successively connect the nitrogen source to the static pressure line that terminates each instrument. Ventilate the system. 6 Position and screw drain bleeder. 7 Remove the blanking caps from each instrument fitting and connect the static pressure lines. 8 Blank off both static pressure ports of the fuselage. 3) Perform a leakage test of the static system - refer to Page 501.
