- a window cut out into the dial located in the upper L.H. portion. When the turn-and-bank indicator is not electrically supplied or in the event of a failure, a warning flag drops into view.
M32 turn-and-bank indicator is electrically supplied by "BUS 2" bar via CB72 switch-breaker. M32 turn-and-bank indicator is mounted in the lower L.H. corner of L.H. instrument panel.

4. OPERATION
The equipment is energized by closing the switch-breaker. The warning flag goes out of view when the gyroscope rotor reaches the required operation speed.
The M32 turn-and-bank indicator is ready to measure the angular speed of the aircraft around its vertical axis. The red warning flag will drop into view in the indicator window to alert the pilot when the supply voltage of the equipment is interrupted or when it becomes insufficient.

MAGNETIC COMPASS
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1. GENERAL
The magnetic compass is an independent instrument which provides the pilot with information concerning the earth's magnetic field.
The installation is composed of :
- the magnetic compass,
- the compensation assembly (Option).
The lighting of the magnetic compass is ensured by "BUS 1" bar.

3. DESCRIPTION
The magnetic compass is composed of a case filled with dampening liquid in which a graduated compass card,
visible through a window, moves. The magnetic heading is read on the compass card in front of a lubber line.
A compensation device, located on the front face, allows correcting the magnetic compass deviations caused by the environment magnetic influence (aircraft structure and electrical installations).
NOTE : When this device does not allow correcting the deviations sufficiently, a compensation assembly, composed of a box fitted with a magnet, is secured inside the upper portion of the radio rack.
