TURN AND BANK INDICATION
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1. GENERAL
The turn and bank indication system uses an inclinometer which shows banking information when the aircraft is turning.
2. LOCATION (Figure 1)

3. DESCRIPTION A. Inclinometer
The simple type inclinometer is made of a bent and sealed glass tube, which contains kerosene and a black agate or a common steel ball.
This ball moves freely inside the tube. The kerosene acts as a damper. Therefore, it allows a regular movement of the ball. The tube is curved so that the ball tends to move towards the lowest point when the tube is horizontal. The tube has a small projection on the L.H. side including an air bubble, which compensates the expansion of the kerosene during the changes in temperature. Two marks show the right position of the ball inside the tube.
It is located on the L.H. instrument panel.

TURN-AND-BANK INDICATION DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1. GENERAL
The purpose of the turn-and-bank indication system is to measure the angular speed of the aircraft around its vertical axis.
The system is composed of :
- a M32 turn-and-bank indicator,
- a CB72 "TURN-COORD." or " () " switch-breaker.
M32 turn-and-bank indicator is electrically supplied by "BUS 2" bar.

3. DESCRIPTION
A. M32 turn-and-bank indicator
M32 turn-and-bank indicator provides information on :
- the turn speed of the aircraft,
- the direction of the turn,
- the flight symmetry (slipping).
The front face of the equipment features :
- a transverse level composed of a glass tube inside which a ball moves,
- a needle which provides the angular speed of the aircraft around its vertical axis when the latter is turning. A travel of the size of the needle width corresponds to a turn angular speed of 1 turn within 4 min.,
