3) Connect connector (5).
4) Connect antenna connector (8) and connector (6).
5) Insert insulating lug (7) between flexible antenna (10) and A65 emergency locator transmitter (1) contact tab.

6) Set "MANU-OFF-AUTO" switch (4) to "AUTO".

6) Set "MANU-OFF/RST-AUTO" switch (4) to "AUTO".

7) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris.
8) Close access door 219.
3. ADJUSTMENT / TEST - A65 EMERGENCY LOCATOR TRANSMITTER
CAUTION : GIVEN THE NUISANCES THAT EMERGENCY LOCATOR TRANSMITTER OPERATIONAL TESTS GENERATE TO AIR TRAFFIC, THE OPERATOR SHALL INQUIRE ABOUT THE REGULATIONS PROPER TO THE COUNTRY WHERE THESE TESTS ARE TO BE PERFORMED.
IF THE OPERATIONAL TESTS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED BY THE REGULATIONS IN FORCE IN THE COUNTRY WHERE THE TESTS ARE TO BE CONDUCTED, THE EMERGENCY LOCATOR TRANSMITTER MUST BE CHECKED IN AN APPROVED STATION.

A65 EMERGENCY LOCATOR TRANSMITTER
MAINTENANCE PRACTICES
NOTE : The A65 emergency locator transmitter must only be operated for search and rescue purposes in case of aeronautical emergency. Failure to observe this rule will lead to sanctions imposed by the relevant authorities. Set emergency locator transmitter "ON-OFF-AUTO" switch to "OFF" during handling.
1. SERVICING

Refer to "Operation and Installation Instructions" - refer to 00-00-00.
2. REMOVAL / INSTALLATION - A65 EMERGENCY LOCATOR TRANSMITTER (Figure 201)

B. Removal of A65 emergency locator transmitter
1) Open access door 219.
2) Set emergency locator transmitter "ON-OFF-AUTO" switch to "OFF".
3) Disconnect antenna connector (6).
4) Disconnect connector (7) ensuring connection to the aircraft wiring harness.
5) Press and unscrew 1/4 turn fastener (1) and remove attachment plate (2).
6) Disengage and remove A65 emergency locator transmitter (3) from mounting tray (4).
