Procedure 1) Open access door 219. 2) Open access door 242. 3) Visually inspect the installation, the E50 antenna and the E50 antenna attachment for condition. 4) Measure the standing-wave ratio of E50 antenna. Standing-wave ratio must be lower than 3. 5) Check continuity and insulation of E50 antenna coaxial cable. 6) Inspect A65 emergency locator transmitter attachments for condition. 7) Make sure the expiry date on the label stuck to the box has not been reached. 8) Make sure the "MANU-OFF-AUTO" switch or the "MANU-OFF/RST-AUTO" switch of the emergency locator transmitter is set to "AUTO". 9) Inspect the remote control connectors for condition. 10) Make sure both remote control wire terminals are locked. 11) Make sure the E50 antenna coaxial connectors are locked and the insulating lug is positioned between the flexible antenna and the contact blade. 12) Check S130 remote control switch for correct condition and make sure it is set to "AUTO". 13) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris. 14) Close access door 242. 15) Close access door 219.
