REMOVAL OF THE TUNNEL (Figures 401 and 401A) A. Tools and consumable materials - Blanking caps and plugs B. Procedure 1) Move the front seats to maximum forward position. 2) Remove the front seat belt attachments. 3) Unstick the tunnel and rear section carpet to gain access to screws (9) securing tunnel (8). 4) Remove screw (3) from the central pedestal. 5) Remove screws (4), washers (5) and both side guides (6). 6) Remove screws (11) and washers (12), remove and retain microphone support (1) and microphone recess (2). 7) Remove screws (9). With oxygen system 8) Disengage tunnel (8). WARNING : OBEY THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS DESCRIBED IN 35-00-00. CAUTION : ANY ACTION ON OXYGEN SYSTEM MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL ONLY. 9) Apply the oxygen system procedure - refer to 35-00-00. 10) Disconnect oxygen supply hose (14). Blank off. NOTE : To check oxygen connection fittings (10) without removal, tilt the tunnel on one side. Do not overstress the oxygen supply hose (14) and observe the safety precautions -refer to 35-00-00. All 11) Remove tunnel (8). 2. INSTALLATION OF THE TUNNEL (Figures 401 and 401A) A. Tools and consumable materials - Adhesive (TB 08-907) - Teflon tape (TB 09-901) - White paint AEAB Validity : S / N 588, 600, 610 - 730 25-15-00Page 401 (FA) SEP 04 B. Procedure 1) Check the parts for correct condition, replace if necessary. 2) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris. 3) Position tunnel (8). With oxygen system WARNING : OBEY THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS DESCRIBED IN 35-00-00.
