CAUTION : IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT CONTROLLED COMPONENTS REACH MECHANICAL STOP BEFORE CONTROL LEVERS REACH MECHANICAL STOP ON CONTROL PEDESTAL. 13) Move control levers (5), (16) and (17) twice or three times. Make sure that controlled components reach mechanical stop before control levers reach mechanical stop on control pedestal. NOTE : If the control levers reach mechanical stop first, reposition rear covering plate (15). 14) Check pitch trim lighting (14) and lighter (6) for correct operation. 15) Check control knob (12) and rudder tab for correct displacement - refer to 27-20-00. 16) Check fuel selector control knob (8) for correct displacement. AJAC Validity : S / N 731 - 9999 25-14-00 (EM) Page 404 SEP 04 TUNNEL REMOVAL / INSTALLATION 1. REMOVAL OF THE TUNNEL (Figures 401 and 401A) A. Tools and consumable materials - Blanking caps and plugs B. Procedure 1) Move the front seats to maximum forward position. 2) Remove the front seat belt attachments. 3) Unstick the tunnel and rear section carpet to gain access to screws (9) securing tunnel (8). 4) Remove screws (4), washers (5) and both side guides (6). 5) Pull ashtray (11) up to remove it. 6) Unstick and remove microphone recess (1). 7) Remove screws (9). 8) Disengage tunnel (8). With oxygen system WARNING : OBEY THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS DESCRIBED IN 35-00-00. CAUTION : ANY ACTION ON OXYGEN SYSTEM MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL ONLY. 9) Apply the oxygen system procedure - refer to 35-00-00. 10) Disconnect oxygen supply hose (12). Blank off.
