A. Tools and consumable materials - Blanking caps and plugs B. Procedure 1) Move the front seats to maximum forward position. 2) Remove the front seat belt attachments. 3) Unstick the tunnel and rear section carpet to gain access to screws (10) securing tunnel (9). 4) Remove screw (4) from the central pedestal. 5) Remove screws (5), washers (6) and both side guides (7). 6) Remove screws (16) and washers (17), remove and retain microphone support (1). 7) Remove screws (18) and washers (19), disengage plate (3). 8) Remove radio connection jacks (2) and, if installed, BOSE headset connectors (18). 9) Remove plate (3). 10) If installed, remove screws (14) and washers (15), disengage plate (13), remove radio connection jacks (12) and BOSE headset connectors (18). 11) Remove plate (13). 12) Remove screws (10). 13) Disengage tunnel (9). WARNING : OBEY THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS DESCRIBED IN 35-00-00. CAUTION : ANY ACTION ON OXYGEN SYSTEM MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL ONLY. 14) Apply the oxygen system procedure - refer to 35-00-00. 15) Disconnect oxygen supply hose (20). Blank off. NOTE : To check oxygen connection fittings (11) without removal, tilt the tunnel on one side. Do not overstress the oxygen supply hose (20) and observe the safety precautions -refer to 35-00-00. 16) Remove tunnel (9). Tools and consumable materials - Adhesive (TB 08-907) - Teflon tape (TB 09-901) - White paint B. Procedure 1) Check the parts for correct condition, replace if necessary. 2) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris. 3) Install tunnel (9). WARNING : OBEY THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS DESCRIBED IN 35-00-00. CAUTION : ANY ACTION ON OXYGEN SYSTEM MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL ONLY. 4) Apply the oxygen system procedure - refer to 35-00-00. 5) Correctly route oxygen supply hose (20) and position it into guiding clip (21) and holding tab (22) - refer to Detail A. 6) Remove blanking caps and plugs, connect oxygen supply hose (20) with teflon tape (TB 09-901) - refer to 20-00-02. 7) Perform a leakage test on oxygen system - refer to 35-00-00. 8) Mark the nut of oxygen supply hose (20) with white paint. 9) Secure tunnel (9) to angle bracket (8) and to the rear section with screws (10). 10) Install and secure radio connection jacks (2) on plate (3) according to wire marking.
