A Temporary Flight Restriction (TFR) is a geographi-cally limited, short term, airspace restriction, typically in the United States. TFRs often encompass major sporting events, natural disaster areas, air shows,
space launches, and Presidential movements. You
can access current TFRs on the FAA website at www.faa.gov by selecting “Regulations & Policies” from the main menu bar.
