FRAMES AND FITTINGS
ADJUSTMENT / TEST
NOTE : This procedure is applicable to L.H. and R.H. installations. Information specific to R.H. installation are given in square brackets.
1. ADJUSTMENT OF THE WING REAR ATTACHMENT (Figure 501)
A. Tools and consumable materials
- 1 padded support for frame C7
- 2 wing padded supports P/N TB10 99000911
- Grease (TB 04-004A)
- Red paint
B. Procedure
1) Jack up the aircraft - refer to 07-10-00.
CAUTION : THE SUPPORTS MUST FIT TO FUSELAGE PROFILE PERFECTLY AND BEARING
FACES MUST BE PADDED TO AVOID DAMAGING THE STRUCTURE.
2) Install padded supports under L.H. and R.H. wings at a rib, and under rear fuselage at frame C7.
3) Remove and discard nuts (1) and (3). Remove and retain washers (2) and (4), and bolts (8) and (6). Remove rod (7).
4) Secure rod (7) to fitting (5) with bolt (6), washer (4) and new nut (3).
5) Position rod (7) between both half-fittings (10) and (11) then insert bolt (8).
6) If bolt (8) does not engage, or if it does but with difficulty, perform the following operations :
a) Remove the rear bench - refer to 25-12-00.
b) Remove the front seats - refer to 25-11-00.
c) Remove the side upholstery panels.
CAUTION : MARK THE POSITION OF BOLTS (15) AND (16) AND WASHERS (13) AND (14).
d) Remove and discard nuts (12). Remove and retain washers (13) and (14), bolts (15) and (16), adjusting shims (9) (if installed) and half-fittings (10) and (11).
CAUTION : INSTALL 6 ADJUSTING SHIMS MAXIMUM.
e) Install one or several adjusting shims (9) between the cabin floor and half-fittings (10) and (11), until bolt (8) engages without difficulty.
f) Secure half-fittings (10) and (11) and adjusting shims (9) (if installed) with bolts (15) and (16), washers (13) and (14) and new nuts (12). Torque - refer to 20-00-01.
7) Secure rod (7) to half-fittings (10) and (11) with bolt (8), washer (2) and new nut (1).
8) Torque nuts (1) and (3) - refer to 20-00-01.
9) Mark bolts (6), (8), (15) and (16) and nuts (1), (3) and (12) with a red paint line.
