Frame C2 is a double frame which provides passage and attachment for the wing spar. The wings rear attachment fittings are secured to frame C3. The L.H. and R.H. footsteps are secured to frame C4. Information specific to R.H. installation are given in square brackets. 1. REMOVAL OF THE WING REAR ATTACHMENT (Figure 401) A. Tools and consumable materials - 1 padded support for frame C7 - 2 wing padded supports P/N TB10 99000911 B. Procedure 1) Jack up the aircraft - refer to 07-10-00. CAUTION : THE SUPPORTS MUST FIT TO FUSELAGE PROFILE PERFECTLY AND BEARING FACES MUST BE PADDED TO AVOID DAMAGING THE STRUCTURE. 2) Install padded supports under L.H. and R.H. wings at a rib, and under rear fuselage at frame C7. 3) Remove the rear bench - refer to 25-12-00. 4) Remove the front seats - refer to 25-11-00. 5) Remove the side upholstery panels. 6) Remove and discard nut (9). Remove and retain washer (10) and bolt (12). Disconnect rod (11). CAUTION : MARK THE POSITION OF BOLTS (5) AND (6) AND WASHERS (3) AND (4). 7) Remove and discard nuts (1). Remove and retain washers (3) and (4), bolts (5) and (6), adjusting shims (8) (if installed) and the rear attachment (7). 2. INSTALLATION OF THE WING REAR ATTACHMENT (Figure 401) A. Tools and consumable materials - 1 padded support for frame C7 - 2 wing padded supports P/N TB10 99000911 - Grease (TB 04-004A) - Red paint B. Procedure 1) Install rear attachment (7) and adjusting shims (8) (if installed). Secure with bolts (5) and (6), washers (3) and (4) and new nuts (1). Torque - refer to 20-00-01. 2) Make sure the rear attachment (7) is correctly adjusted. Adjust if necessary - refer to Page 501. 3) Connect rod (11), secure with bolt (12), washer (10) and new nut (9). Torque - refer to 20-00-01. 4) Mark bolts (12), (5) and (6) and nuts (1) and (9) with a red paint line. 5) Lubricate the rear attachment with grease (TB 04-004A) - refer to 12-20-01. 6) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris.
