3) Apply Loctite (TB 09-906) to union (17) thread - refer to 20-00-08. Install union (17) on pump (20) -refer to 20-00-06. CAUTION : FILL FILTER (4) BOWL WITH FUEL. 4) Assemble, if necessary, filter (4) and pump (20). CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT BRACKET IS CORRECTLY POSITIONED ON FIREWALL. 5) Position, if necessary, the bracket on the firewall - refer to Detail B. 6) Attach pump (20) and filter (4) assembly onto bracket with bolts (7) and washers (6). 7) Attach pump (20) onto its bracket with clamp (18). 8) Remove the blanking caps, apply Loctite (TB 09-906) to union (14) thread - refer to 20-00-08. Connect tube (15) - refer to 20-00-02. 9) Remove the blanking caps, connect and attach air vent hose (8) onto union (17) with clamp (16). 10) Remove blanking caps, apply Loctite (TB 09-906) to union (1) thread - refer to 20-00-08. Connect hose (19) - refer to 20-00-02. CAUTION : DO NOT FORGET TO SECURE GROUNDING WIRE. 11) Secure noise filter (22) and grounding wire. 12) Connect electrical connector (21). 13) Set fuel selector to "LEFT" or "RIGHT" position. 14) Bleed the fuel system - refer to 12-11-02. CAUTION : MAKE SURE THAT THE SELECTED TANK CONTAINS FUEL BEFORE ACTUATING THE ELECTRIC PUMP. 15) Perform a leakage test with the fuel system pressurized - refer to 28-00-00 and check the fuel pump indicator light on the advisory panel for operation. ACAC Validity : S / N 1 - 730, "DUKES" pump 28-20-01Page 402 (DA) SEP 02 16) Check for leaks. 17) Mark with a red paint line unions (1), (13), (14) and (17), nuts of tube (15) and hose (19), nuts (12) and (2) and pump (20). 18) Remove the drain pan. 19) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris. 20) Install the engine cowlings - refer to 71-10-01. 21) Perform a test run-up - refer to 05-30-02.
