5) If necessary, adjust yoke (3), install a new lockwasher and make sure the control thread is visible through the check hole ; fold down lockwasher tab.
NOTE : If misadjustment persists, reposition the rack on the housing - refer to Paragraph 2.
6) Fully rotate control knob (1) to the left (spring pin abutting to the left).
7) On vernier protractor (4), make sure the travel angle is 10°± 2°.
8) Fully rotate control knob (1) to the right (spring pin abutting to the right).
9) On vernier protractor (4), make sure the travel angle is 25°± 2°.
10) Remove vernier protractor (4).
11) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris.
C. Adjustment of rudder trim tab travel with travel jig (Figure 202A)
1) Set the rudder to zero degree.
2) Set control knob (1) to zero degree.
3) Position and hold travel jig (4) onto the rudder below rudder trim tab (2).
4) On travel jig (4), check the alignment of rudder trim tab (2) with the 0° angle.
5) If necessary, adjust yoke (3), install a new lockwasher and make sure the control thread is visible through the check hole ; fold down lockwasher tab.
NOTE : If misadjustment persists, reposition the rack on the housing - refer to Paragraph 2.
6) Fully rotate control knob (1) to the left (spring pin abutting to the left).
7) On travel jig (4), make sure the travel angle is 10°± 2°.
8) Fully rotate control knob (1) to the right (spring pin abutting to the right).
9) On travel jig (4), make sure the travel angle is 25°± 2°.
10) Remove travel jig (4).
11) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris.

PITCH CONTROL
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1. GENERAL
The aircraft pitch control is ensured by a monobloc control surface actuated and linked via control linkage to the sliding tube control wheels located in the instrument panel of the cockpit. This rod-operated control is routed along the central section of the floor as far as frame C6, then into the rear section of the fuselage up to the control surface. The elevator trailing edge is equipped with an automatic anti-tab and controlled as elevator trim tab by means of a cable control.
