Check of rudder control (Figure 202) 1) Inspect front interconnection rods (3) for : - slack, buckling, cracks, binding and corrosion, - correct tightening of the attachment nuts of the tapped end and the yoke, - security and condition of the bellows, - correct safetying of nuts (2) of attachment bolts to nose gear interconnection lever and crank lever (4) with cotter pins, - correct safetying of the hinge bolt of crank lever (4), - correct safetying of the jam nut of rod end assy (1). 2) Inspect rear interconnection rods (8) for : - slack, buckling, cracks, binding and corrosion, - the condition of the attachment rivets of rod end assy, - correct tightening of the yoke attachment nuts, - correct safetying of nuts (9) of attachment pins on rudder bar and crank lever (4) with cotter pins.
