FUEL SUPPLY
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1. GENERAL
Fuel supply is the part of the fuel system located, on one hand, between the union on firewall and the engine regulation section and, on the other hand, between the engine regulation section and the engine combustion chamber.
Fuel supply includes :
- engine pump,
- flow divider,
- injectors.

3. DESCRIPTION (Figure 2)
A. Engine pump
The engine pump supplies the injection pump with the fuel necessary to the engine operation. This pump, mechanically driven by the engine, is located on the rear table of the latter. The external part of the pump is cooled through a housing supplied by the air picked up at the level of L.H. rear bulkhead.
B. Flow divider
The flow divider receives the fuel from the injection pump. It distributes it fairly to the injectors in the cylinders and regulates injectors fuel supply depending on the mixture position on the injection pump. The junction between the injection pump and the flow divider is ensured through a hose, the junction between the flow divider and the injectors is ensured through stainless steel rigid pipes.
The flow divider transmits the fuel pressure to a dual indicator.
The flow divider is located at the engine upper part at the base of cylinders. NOTE : The flow divider does not require any adjustment.
C. Injectors
The constant flow injectors are fitted with an integrated air intake which enables fuel atomization and better spraying.
The fuel injectors flow is calibrated at ± 2 %.
The injectors are located on the external upper part of the engine cylinders.
