6) Set SW4 graduated thumbwheel to the position corresponding to the selected unit of measure - refer to Table below.

7) Set SW1 and SW2 graduated thumbwheels to the positions given in the Table below :
- set SW1 depending on the value of "K" factor (3) displayed on flow transmitter (2),
- set SW2 to position A.

8) Connect fuel flow indicator (1) to the aircraft.
9) For the aircraft fitted with a ground power receptacle, connect ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00.
10) Close main switch-breaker.
11) Perform a check sequence of fuel flow indicator (1) - refer to Paragraph 2.
12) During the test, make sure "K" factor displayed value corresponds to the value recorded on flow
transmitter (2).
NOTE : If the values do not correspond, check the position of graduated thumbwheels.
13) If connected, disconnect the ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00.
14) Open main switch-breaker.
15) Mask access to graduated thumbwheels with a new "CAUTION" red adhesive label (4).
16) Write the value of "K" factor (3) on the new label.
17) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris.
18) Install fuel flow indicator (1).

2. TEST FUNCTION OF FUEL FLOW INDICATOR
NOTE : If the test is performed while the engine is running, fuel flow is not recorded by the computer
for 17 seconds.
A. Tools and consumable materials
- Ground power unit
B. Procedure
1) For the aircraft fitted with a ground power receptacle, connect ground power unit - refer to 24-40-00.
2) Close main switch-breaker.
3) Depress "TEST" button for 3 seconds.
4) Make sure pixels flash (3 flashes).
5) Make sure inverse pixels flash (3 flashes).
6) Make sure the message "GOOD" is displayed for 3 seconds.
NOTE : If the word "BAD" and an error message appear, it means that the indicator does not
operate correctly. In this case, remove it and send it to the manufacturer.
7) Make sure "K" factor and the unit of measure are displayed.
