Tools and consumable materials - Torque wrench 0 - 885 lbf.in (0 - 100 N.m) - Removal/installation tool for three-blade propeller, P/N TB97400ZTB2000300P0240 - Red paint - Stainless steel lockwire, dia. 0.032 in (0.8 mm) B. Procedure 1) Check spinner (27), cylinder side bulkhead (1) and engine side bulkhead (8), slinger ring (15) and propeller sprayers (24) for cracks and distortions. 2) Check groover rubber strips (26) for condition and separation - refer to 30-60-00. 1 3) Check bolts (21) condition for absence of damage or corrosion. Replace them if necessary. 4) Assemble propeller (4), if necessary. a) Install propeller sprayers (24) with washers (22), bolts (25) and new nuts (23). Torque - refer to 20-00-01. NOTE : The tube of propeller sprayer (24) must be aligned with the blade leading edge and the gap between the surface of groover rubber strip (26) and the nose of propeller sprayer (24) must be from 0.08 to 0.12 in (2 to 3 mm). b) Fit bolts (6) and washers (7) on engine side bulkhead (8), then attach it with bolts (5), spacers (19), washers (18) and new nuts (17). c) Torque - refer to 20-00-01. d) Mark nuts (23) and (17) position with a red paint line. e) Install slinger ring (15) on engine side bulkhead (8) and screw new nuts (11) by two threads. 5) Remove the blanking caps and install a new 0-ring (14). 6) Position propeller (4) on the engine and align the "0" of the propeller with the "0" of brush ring (12). Remove nuts (11), push slinger ring (15) backwards and attach the propeller with bolts (21) equipped with nuts (20). 7) Torque bolts (21) according to "Specific cases" tightening procedure - refer to 20-00-01. 8) Lockwire. 9) Mark nut position with a red paint line. 10) Position slinger ring (15) on engine side bulkhead (8) and fit hoses (16) onto propeller sprayers (24). NOTA : Make sure hoses (16) do not touch the aperture of engine side bulkhead (8). 11) Install washers (10) and nuts (11).
