3) Remove screws (3), washers (2), equipped covers (23) and spinner (24). 4) Cut off lockwire, unscrew bolts (6) equipped with nuts (5) and remove propeller (4). 5) Discard 0-ring (12) and blank off. 6) Disassemble propeller (4), if necessary. a) Remove nuts (21), clamps (20) and bolts (18). Discard nuts (21). b) Cut off lockwire and remove propeller sprayers (15). c) Remove nuts (9), washers (8), engine side bulkhead (7), washers (17), spacers (16), brackets (19) and bolts (22). Discard nuts (9). 2. INSTALLATION OF THE PROPELLER (Figure 401) A. Tools and consumable materials - Torque wrench 0 - 885 lbf.in (0 - 100 N.m) - Red paint - Stainless steel lockwire, dia. 0.032 in (0.8 mm) B. Procedure 1) Check spinner (24), cylinder side bulkhead (1) and engine side bulkhead (7) for cracks and distortions. 2) Check groover rubber strips for condition and separation. 3) Check bolts (6) condition for absence of damage or corrosion. Replace them if necessary. 4) Assemble propeller (4), if necessary. a) Install engine side bulkhead (7) and brackets (19) with bolts (22), spacers (16), washers (8) and (17) and new nuts (9). NOTE : Correctly position propeller sprayers (15) with regard to the blades. b) Torque - refer to 20-00-01. Lockwire tube nuts. e) Attach propeller sprayers (15) on brackets (19) with clamps (20), bolts (18) and new nuts (21). 5) Remove the blanking caps and install a new 0-ring (12). 6) Position propeller (4) on the engine and align the "0" of the propeller with the "0" of brush ring (10). Attach it with bolts (6) equipped with nuts (5). 7) Torque bolts (6) according to "Specific cases" tightening procedure - refer to 20-00-01. 8) Lockwire. 9) Mark nut position with a red paint line. 10) Check adhesive tapes (11) condition on cylinder side bulkhead (1). 11) Position and attach spinner (24) and equipped covers (23) with screws (3) and washers (2). NOTE : If spinner (24), inside, and engine side bulkhead (7), on its front part, are marked with a red paint line, align these lines during installation.
