17) Install the engine cowlings - refer to 71-10-01.
18) Perform a test run-up - refer to 05-30-02.
19) After the run-up, check for traces of leaks (oil) around propeller attachment.
20) Perform a test flight - refer to 05-30-00.

PROPELLER ASSEMBLY
REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
1. REMOVAL OF THE DE-ICED PROPELLER (Figure 401)
A. Tools and consumable materials
- Blanking caps
B. Procedure
WARNING : PRIOR TO ANY OPERATION, ENSURE THAT THE KEY IS REMOVED FROM MAGNETO SELECTOR AND THAT "MAIN SWITCH" IS OFF.
IF AIRCRAFT IS EQUIPPED WITH DISCONNECT PLUG ON FIREWALL, DISCONNECT "MAGNETO DISCONNECT" PLUG AND CONNECT IT TO "GROUND MAGNETO FOR SERVICING" PLUG.
1) Remove the key from the magneto selector.
2) Remove the engine cowlings - refer to 71-10-01.
3) Remove screws (3), washers (2), equipped covers (18) and spinner (19).
4) Remove nuts (15), clamps (13) and bolts (14). Discard nuts (15).
5) Cut off lockwire and remove propeller sprayers (7).
6) Cut off lockwire, unscrew bolts (6) equipped with nuts (5) and remove propeller (4).
7) Discard 0-ring (10) and blank off.
8) Retain engine side bulkhead (8).
9) If necessary, remove nuts (12), washers (11), bolts (17) and brackets (16). Discard nuts (12).
2. INSTALLATION OF THE PROPELLER (Figure 401)
A. Tools and consumable materials
- Torque wrench 0 - 885 lbf.in (0 - 100 N.m)
- Red paint
- Stainless steel lockwire, dia. 0.032 in (0.8 mm)
B. Procedure
1) Check spinner (19), cylinder side bulkhead (1) and engine side bulkhead (8) for cracks and distortions.
2) Check groover rubber strips for condition and separation.
3) Check bolts (6) condition for absence of damage or corrosion. Replace them if necessary.
4) If removed, equip propeller (4) with brackets (16) using bolts (17), washers (11) and new nuts (12). Torque - refer to 20-00-01.
5) Mark nut (12) position with a red paint line.
