Procedure 1) Apply the oxygen system servicing procedure - see Page 301. 2) Check control (2) and grommet (1) for correct condition. Replace them if necessary. 3) Position oxygen cylinder (13) into supports (15) and tighten clamps (14). 4) Make sure gap between oxygen cylinder (13) and shims (16) is between 0.12 and 0.15 in (3 and 4 mm) see Detail B. Adjust oxygen cylinder position, if necessary. 5) Make sure cabin oxygen control lever is set to "OFF". 6) Engage control (2) into sheath grip (4) and cable grip (6). 7) Tighten screws (3) and (5). 8) Remove blanking caps and plugs, connect hose (7) to LP union (8) - refer to 20-00-02. 9) Remove blanking caps and plugs, install a new 0-ring (10) on end fitting (11). 10) Connect carefully capillary line (12) to HP union (9) - refer to 20-00-02. 11) Lockwire clamps (14). WA Validity : With "EROS" oxygen system 35-00-00Page 401 (BA) JUN 04 12) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris. 13) If necessary, charge the oxygen cylinder - refer to 12-16-00. 14) Perform a leak test and an operational test of the oxygen system - see Page 501. 15) Close the access door 219. 3. REMOVAL OF AN OXYGEN CONNECTING PLUG (Figures 402 and 402A) A. Tools and consumable materials - Teflon tape (TB 09-901) - Blanking caps and plugs B. Procedure 1) Apply the oxygen system servicing procedure - see Page 301. 2) Remove upper duct (1) - refer to 25-15-00. 3) Remove covers (9) of oxygen connecting plugs. 4) Disengage oxygen distribution assembly (3) from upper duct (1). Without plate assembly 5) Remove defective connecting plug (4). Remove teflon tape and install blanking caps and plugs. 6) Remove union (5) and cap (6) (if installed) of defective connecting plug (4). Remove teflon tape. 7) Install union (5) and cap (6) (if installed) with teflon tape (TB 09-901) on new connecting plug (4). Torque - refer to 20-00-01.
