OXYGEN
DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
1. GENERAL (Figure 1)
The oxygen system provides the oxygen necessary for four persons for flights at high altitude.
The system includes :
- an equipped oxygen cylinder,
- oxygen masks,
- an oxygen control lever,
- a pressure gage,
- oxygen connecting plugs,
- oxygen hoses and lines.

3. DESCRIPTION
A. Oxygen cylinder
The steel oxygen cylinder has a capacity of 65.7 cu.ft (1860 liters) and a maximum pressure of 1850 psi (127 bars) at 70°F (21°C).
It is located on the rear bulkhead of the baggage compartment. It supplies the system with oxygen with a pressure reduced to approximately 75 psi (5 bars) with a pressure reducing valve.
The pressure reducing valve is equipped with a charging valve and a pressure gage.
B. Oxygen masks
Oxygen masks are stored in headrests.
The front seat masks are pressure-demand types and equipped with a microphone. The regulator consists of a two-position selector : "NORMAL" and "100 %".
The passenger masks are of constant-flow type and can be set for two flow rates :
- flow selection ring on "LO" position : flow 0.467 U.S Gal/min to be used up to 17500 ft.
