Keep alive fuse S / N 823 - 849, 888, 948 - 1212, 1214 - 1239 The keep alive fuse is located close to the battery relay, on frame C4. S / N 1213, 1240 - 9999 The keep alive fuse is located in the baggage compartment on the L.H. side of the battery tray. S / N 823 - 849, 888, 948 - 9999 It protects the electric system between the battery relay and the fuse panel located on the L.H. side of the firewall. It supplies optional equipment or non-optional equipment such as the watch and the courtesy light using the battery. 4. OPERATION A. Alternator regulator A regulator with an integrated overvoltage relay provides the alternator voltage regulation and overvoltage protection. In the event of overvoltage, the regulator disconnects the alternator and the amber (red on U.K. aircraft) warning light labeled "ALT' illuminates. Then, only the battery powers the aircraft mains.
