S / N 731 - 9999 18) Disconnect fuel hose (33) on the firewall. Blank off. 19) Cut and discard tie-wrap (34) attaching engine pump air vent hose (35) to breather (36). S / N 1 - 9999 20) Disconnect manifold pressure hose (6) from union (5). Blank off. 21) Disconnect oil pressure hose (10) from union (9). Blank off. 22) Disconnect oil hoses (8) and (11) and, if installed, the hoses of the second oil cooler (option). Blank off. 23) Disconnect hot air hose(s) from cabin air mixer (32) and demisting box (31) (if installed) on firewall side. Blank off. 24) If installed, remove the cylinder head and exhaust temperature probes. CAUTION IF THE AIRCRAFT IS EQUIPPED WITH DISCONNECT PLUGS ON THE FIREWALL, SOME ELECTRICAL DISCONNECTIONS DESCRIBED HEREUNDER ARE USELESS. 25) Mark the cables and their routing, then disconnect the electrical cables : - battery, - engine ground on firewall, - starter power supply, - alternator power supply, - compressor power supply (if installed), - fuel pressure switch, ABM Validity : S / N 1 - 9999 71-00-00Page 402 (EA) JUN 02 - oil temperature probe, Aircraft equipped with disconnect plugs on firewall - disconnect "Ground magneto for servicing" plug P133 (42), - disconnect alternator connector P131 (44), - disconnect power plant connector P130 (45), S / N 823 - 849 888, 948 - 9999 - tachometer sensor. 26) Remove all attaching components for electrical cables, ducts, engine controls, hoses, etc., attached to the engine mount. 27) Install the engine hoisting device (winch or pulley block) and hook it onto engine hoisting rings (3). 28) Tension-load the hoisting device (winch or pulley block) and check for balance. CAUTION : BEFORE REMOVING THE ENGINE, MAKE SURE NOTHING IMPEDES ITS FREE REMOVAL (WIRING, HOSES, ETC.). 29) Remove and discard cotter pins (70).
