The system consists of : - the leading edge (profiles) deicing, - the windshield deicing, - the Pitot tube heating, - the propeller deicing, - the control panel. 2. DESCRIPTION A. Leading edge (profiles) deicing - refer to 30-10-00 Profile anti-icing or deicing is ensured by the diffusion of deicing fluid through porous panels installed on wing and stabilizer leading edges. B. Windshield deicing - refer to 30-10-00 Windshield deicing is ensured by two bars which spray deicing fluid on its surface. C. Pitot tube heating - refer to 30-30-00 Pitot tube(s) is (are) electrically heated. D. Propeller deicing - refer to 30-60-00 The propeller deicing system consists in ejection of deicing fluid on each propeller blade leading edge. E. Control panel (Figure 2) The system control panel can be installed on the R.H. or L.H. lower panel strip on the radio rack.
