13) Check safetying of hose (5) nut on tank (4).
14) Check tank (4) support on engine mount for condition and attachment.
15) Check tank (4) equipped with pump (3) for condition and attachment.
16) Check pump (3) wiring for condition and attachment.
17) Check tank (4) level, fill up if required.
NOTE : Regularly lubricate tank (4) plug threads with anti-seize product (TB 05-901A) and tighten moderately.
CAUTION : AS THE DEICING FLUID IS PARTICULARLY CORROSIVE, EVERY TEST ON GROUND, ENGINE STOPPED, WILL BE FOLLOWED BY A CAREFUL WASHING OF PAINTED SURFACES WHICH HAVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH THE PRODUCT.
18) Check pump (3) for operation and leaks at unions.

19) Remove the warning sign prohibiting main switch-breaker operation.
20) Install propeller spinner - refer to 61-10-00.
21) Make sure propeller nozzles (2) are not in contact with spinner.
22) Make sure all the tools and materials are removed and the work area is clean and free from debris.
23) Install the engine cowlings - refer to 71-10-01.

REPAIR
1. INSTALLATION OF DEICING RUBBER STRIPS (Figure 801)
A. Tools and consumable materials
- Adhesive (TB 08-018A)
- Varnish (TB 07-902)
- Adhesive tape (TB 08-919A)
- Paint brush
- Wood or rubber roller
- Cleaning agent (TB 11-003)
- Lintfree clean clothes
B. Procedure
WARNING : BLADES WITH INCORRECTLY PAINTED SURFACES OR WITH NO PAINT PROTECTION MAY DEVELOP CORROSION BENEATH DEICING RUBBER STRIP.
CAUTION : CLEANLINESS IS ESSENTIAL FOR PROPER STRIP ADHESION. ALL SOLVENTS MUST BE FREE OF CONTAMINANTS. BRUSHES AND CLOTHES MUST BE CLEAN AND LINTFREE. DO NOT TOUCH SURFACES AFTER THEY HAVE BEEN PREPARED FOR STRIP BONDING.
1) Make sure that the main switch-breaker is open.
2) Install the warning sign prohibiting main switch-breaker operation.

3) Remove propeller spinner - refer to 61-10-00.
4) Cut the new deicing rubber strip (1) to 14.17 in (360 mm) from the grooved part, at blade shank side -see Detail A.
5) Mark the centerline of the strip.
6) Position the strip on blade (2), with the inboard edge of the strip at 0.43 in (11 mm) from hub (3), and with the centerline in line with blade leading edge centerline.
